Dr. M. Daniel Carroll is Distinguished Professor of Old Testament at Denver Seminary. He is half-Guatemalan (his mother) and spent a lot of his youth in his mother’s home country. Before coming to Denver Seminary, he taught for 13 years at El Seminario Teológico Centroamericano in Guatemala City, where he continues to serve as adjunct professor. He founded IDEAL, the Spanish-speaking program at Denver Seminary. His latest book is Christians at Christians at the Border: Immigration, the Church, and the Bible
